If you haven't followed Ariana Grande's journey since she started at Nickelodeon, you might be surprised to see what she was like back in the day. As her music career and her popularity have increased, her physical appearance has been changing.

At the age of 15, Ariana was on Broadway starring in 13 in which she played Charlotte, one of the cheerleaders. At that time, she had a curly dark brown hair.

At the end of 2009, the young woman passed the casting to star in the television series Victorious (2010-2013). For her character, Cat Valentine, she had to dye her hair red every two weeks, which led to her wearing extensions years later. Later, she was part of the spin off Sam & Cat (2013–2014).

After the first season of Victorious, Grande wanted to focus on her music career and began working on her debut album in August 2010. Her first musical appearance was with the song Give It Up from Hit TV's Victorious: Music from soundtrack. Show in August 2011.

While she continued her work on television, Grande was covering songs by Adele, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, and uploading them to YouTube. A friend of Monte Lipman, CEO of Republic Records, saw one of Grande's videos and was so impressed that he sent it to the head of the record company, who immediately made him sign a contract.
