We start the list, with the first film in which Jodie Foster was recognized as an actress. At just 12 years old, Foster played Iris, an underage prostitute in 'Taxi Driver', a film considered by many to be a cult film.

Travis, the character played by De Niro, meets Iris in his taxi. Since then he has tried to dissuade her from prostitution and to return to her parents' house. In this way, Travis becomes obsessed, and even gives her money to get the girl to return to her house.

This is one of those scenes where Travis tries to convince the girl. Foster, despite being only twelve years old on the set of the film, already shows her talent as an actress.
